2.1 Information stored locally on your device
Texno Lug'at stores the following data only on your device using Room Database and DataStore. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:
- IT terms you have bookmarked / saved
- Your app preferences (theme, language, notification settings)
2.2 Information collected automatically
We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the app. This may include:
- Device type, OS version, and screen resolution
- App version and session duration
- General geographic region (country / city level)
- Which screens are viewed most often
No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number) is collected. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.
2.3 Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send optional push notifications (e.g. "Term of the Day"). FCM assigns your device an anonymous registration token. This token is used solely to deliver notifications and is not linked to any personal identity. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- We do not collect payment information.
- We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Locally stored data (bookmarks, preferences) remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase in accordance with Google's data retention settings (default: 14 months).

Texno Lug'at is a general-purpose educational app intended for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Security
All data stored locally is protected by Android's standard application sandbox. We do not transmit personal data over the network. Firebase data transmission uses TLS encryption.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Opt out of analytics by using Android's "Opt out of Ads Personalization" setting.
- Disable push notifications in your device's app notification settings.
- Delete all locally stored data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
